✍️ The Ethereum Foundation is investing tens of millions into zkVMs 👉Read(EN)

The Ethereum Foundation once again caused a stir across the broader market on Friday, revealing that it is investing tens of millions into zkVMs (zero knowledge virtual machines). Justin Drake, a renowned researcher at the organization, revealed this investment strategy. Notably, this investment plan outlined three vital entities that remain poised to leverage the opportunity, per the researcher’s announcement.

✍️ The debate between Solana and zero-knowledge (ZK) technology 👉Read(EN)

There has been a recent buzz around the debate between Solana and zero-knowledge (ZK) technology regarding their practicality for the “end-game” of blockchain scalability. ‘Toly argues that ZK is generally slower than classical computation due to the intensive proof generation process, making it functionally irrelevant for many commercial use cases. However, this may be too rigid of a stance. Client-side proving in ZK is an exciting development with immense potential for scaling. Wei Dai, believes that ZK is essential to scale beyond a singular state machine by enabling each client to run millions of state machines, with sequencers verifying state transitions across them.

✍️ MEV isn’t as competitive as you think👉Read(EN)

Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) has garnered significant attention in the blockchain space, with general opinion being that it’s an intensely competitive field. However, this perception may not be entirely accurate. In this post, I’ll explore why the level of competition in MEV extraction may not be as intense as some perceive it to be and discuss the factors that contribute to this reality. I will also explain the differences between short tail MEV and long tail MEV and how these differences affect competition.

💸 IPOR Bug Bounty

Maximum Bounty $100,000 👉 Apply

Known issue:

  • IPOR index value manipulation through AAVE & Compound
  • reports reported via github https://github.com/IPOR-Labs/ipor-audit-reports
  • The issue with liquidity pools amount equals zero
  • asset management relies on the published token exchange rate (gas optimization)
  • when opening swaps the asset management holdings are calculated without the interest (gas optimisation)

💸 Hourglass Bug Bounty

Maximum Bounty $50,000 👉 Apply

Hourglass is a protocol that facilitates liquidity for time-bound and semi-fungible tokens. The bug bounty program for Hourglass details rewards by threat level. For smart contracts, critical threats offer $50,000 max and $10,000 min, with rewards based on 10% of directly affected mainnet assets. High threats with primacy of impact have a $10,000 max and $5,000 min. For websites and apps in critical state, rewards range from $5,000 to $1,000.

💸 Ante Finance Bug Bounty

Maximum Bounty $25,000 👉 Apply

AntePool contract consumes unbounded gas aside from (i) known scaling of checkTest gas usage with number of challengers or (ii) due to malicious AnteTests that consume unbounded gas.
